DreamAcres Ranch is located in the Northwest portion of the Las Vegas, Nevada Valley. We specialize in the care, breeding and (only when we can bear to part with them...) sale of fine Arabian and Saddlebred horses. "Our Mission"Horses have always been a predominant part of my life. When I was very young, we rode regularly out on my grandpa's ranch in Myton, Utah. I was saddling and riding my little Welsh pony, whose name changed as often as my shoe size, at the tender age of three. After moving from Utah to Las Vegas, I obtained my next horse, Ginger". She was a beautiful golden palomino mare. Once I was married and had children of my own, I knew that I wanted horses to be a part of my kids' lives. So for Christmas, 1987, we purchased our first Arabian, WT Soplica, "Shiloh", a *Witez II granddaughter. My parents had also purchased two Arabs, GWT Mazaradee, "Mazy", a *Tinian granddaughter, and Samaritahn, "Sam", a *Bask grandson. My sister had also bought a strikingly beautiful desert-bred mare, Lacy Velour ," Lacy". A year later, we acquired our first breeding stallion, Classy Showboy, a Real McCoy grandson. This had inadvertently made horses an extended family interest. We had then decided to move to a more remote place that would provide freedom and safety for both our kids and horses. My sister and I found a pleasant piece of property in the northwest section of Vegas, more specifically in the historical Gilcrease Ranch area. Arabs were now our passion but we were looking into other breeds that had beauty and action comparable to the Arabs, but had a little more height to accommodate our taller riders. We fell in love with the Saddlebreds. Our first was " Darlin ", a stunning blood-bay mare, with a pedigree of Sultan's Great Day on the top and Champagne Fizz on the bottom. We have now bred, raised, and sold Arabians and Saddlebreds for the past fourteen years. "Our Mission" as DreamAcres Ranch, is to breed beautiful colored horses and raise babies that defy the definition of the traditional horse. Our babies are raised to be your best friends for life! As has been proven repeatedly throughout the years, our horses are not your typical horses.
